This is the documentation I followed at first.

I installed a new site from the beginning (just to make sure) and followed the instructions. Now everything's OK. I then checked with the faulty site to make sure everything was the same as the newly installed site, and it is. But date, copyright and so on still look...  well, they don't look at all!  :-)

I'll copy my structure to the new site. That will fix everything up! This will definitely be easier (and maybe faster) than trying to find out the little problem with the actual site.

I think maybe you config something wrong.

First Steps:
Change the default language

Find and edit
fileadmin/styles/[style]/TemplateRessources/pageTSconfig.txt

mod.SHARED {
  defaultLanguageFlag = uk.gif
  defaultLanguageLabel = english
}

Change the two lines to set the desired default language.

Find and edit (or use constant editor if you need help with the values)
fileadmin/styles/[style]/TemplateRessources/constants.txt

languageLocaleStandardLang = english
languageIsoCodeStandardLang = en

Add more languages

   1. Select the List module
   2. Select the top level page (UID 0)
   3. Click the icon and select New
   4. Within the wizard select Website Language
   5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add as much langauges as you need
   6. Use constant editor, category plugin-tx_dbttv-language to set the correct values for all your languages.

If you do everything correctly Searchbox, Copyright and date will show correctly like this.

 

About Font-size selector you need to switch on it first.

- Login to backend and click on "Template" module at the left side.
- Click "Rootpage" at the middle side
- Choose "Constant Editor" at the select box on right side.
- Choose "PLUGIN-TX_DBTTV-TEASER"
- Search for "Switch off fontsize selector?" and select "No" and save.

 

Hi,

I successfully installed and configured Templates for Templavoila 4.07 on a Linux system. I'm using two languages: french (as default) and english. I followed instructions to set the default language and add another one. It seems to be OK, but in the default (french) language, there are strange things that happens:

1) I don't see the magnifying glass (for fontsize selection)
2) The date and time appears as: 1270845646 (for example, at the time of writing)
3) I don't see the searchbox
4) I don't have the copyright notice

As soon as I switch to english, everything appears.

How do I debug that?  This is all what I need to be able to replace the old Typo3 installation for my site.
